Description

I had earlier purchased two TAP units (repeaters) from Amped Wireless for some cottages on our property but due to the jungle foliage (Haiku is the rain forest part of Maui many say) I couldn't get a signal above 65%. Added the WA 12 to the TAPs and voila! 80 plus percent. Once again Cederick at ext 2012 provided the excellent tech support I've grown accustomed to being an Amped Wireless customer.

I purchased this antenna because I was told it would boost my Wi-Fi range by almost double, according to AmpedWireless' own claims. After installing it, it boosted my signal a whopping 2-3%. That's it. That's hardly double and definitely not worth the $35. This product won't do anything for you

I live in a three story old (108 years) Victorian home and my router was giving me a low signal between the 1st and 3rd floors. Bought this over 2 years ago and I have a full wi-fi signal throughout my entire home as well as my patio and back yard.
